OUR personal COMMITMENT Every member of the Tiffany Law Group is passionately committed to providing children with special needs the best possible learning environment, so that they can gain the education they need to lead productive and fulfilling lives. To us, this is a calling, not just a profession.
We have been where you are now From our personal experience as parents of children with learning disabilities, we understand the distress parents feel when they see their children struggling without the proper supports. We know that children have a boundless capacity for learning, but some are held back by disabilities that can be readily addressed with timely intervention. But time is precious, and every year that children do not progress, they fall further and further behind their peers, making it ever harder for them to fully catch up. |
your child has rights Fortunately, laws of the United States and the State of California guarantee all children a Free Appropriate Public Education in the Least Restrictive Environment. What this means, in plain terms, is that we as a society have committed to ensuring that every child has the right to learn and progress and to do so in the company of typical peers to the greatest extent possible. Your federal tax dollars are given to public schools so they can achieve this purpose. Our job is to help parents, children and schools find the right educational path, preferably by agreement, but through litigation if necessary.
we are affordable We also realize that money is an issue. Parents of disabled children do not have "deep pockets." We work with our clients to make our services affordable. We are also committed to resolving disputes in the most cost effective manner. The vast majority of our cases are resolved through settlement, which typically includes payment of attorneys' fees by the school district. |
